opportunity vs. chance

chance:可能性;胜算;机会(作此义时同opportunity)

opportunity:用来达到目的、希望等的时机;机会

例句:

dish vs. plate

dish:待洗的餐具,用复数形式;菜肴

plate:盘子

例句:

broad vs. wide

broad:事物幅度宽广的、宽阔的;选择广的、多的;粗略的

wide:宽的,用法为:一段长度+wide;(一边至另一边的距离)宽的;眼睛、嘴巴等张大的
